Museum members are terrible. And there's a sense of ownership that they get out of that. The movie theatre acts as like a kind of a de facto, like daytime third lasal servi a social service,. A place where you can be outside of your home and communal. Some people who go to the movies every day for a flat rate rit will expect the same level of service from their waiter or server. It gets back to this idea of the museum is like a hollowed place that somehow is not beholden to those rules.
