The Importance of Being Accepted by God
Kat, I think that we have to understand that through Christ Jesus, we are fully loved, known and accepted. And because of that, we can come to him out of that. So it's okay that you live in sin. You're already loved and accepted by God. That is not what the scripture sees. Right. Because sitting in your sin and just saying 'Jesus is covering it' isn't sanctification. It's a springboard for obedience. But if you just use that idea to backstroke and disobedience, then you may need to check in with this reality.
