The Importance of a Military in a World in Transition
I'm not convinced that more often than not, we don't end up making a bigger mess for ourselves individually. No matter how much we turn the society into one that favors individual well being, we're going to need to have if we live in a world where there are bad guys out there. There's something beneficial to fighting for your life every day. And so I think we're in this transitional moment where we don't yet know the answer.
