Tolkien's Creation Myth
There are those differences certainly between them where in the first version Melkor is impatient of the void impatient of the darkness wants to bring forth his own creativity and that it's at odds with illugatars with the one God. So there's something in the music of the I know in that creation met that Tolkien didn't want to let go up. And there are parallels as well between that creation myth and both tellings and other cosmogonies within the Christian tradition.
