The Importance of Setting an Example in Governance
There was a tendency not to make a board subcommittee on audit because they didn't want anybody to look at records. I strengthened the internal audit department and appointed an integrity officer. There were a whole host of things that were done in the governance domain. The most important thing is that you have to set an example yourself.
