Urban Re-Winding in Urban Areas
Re-wilding is about restoring ecological processes and human management stepping back. In Italy, where I'm from, the number of wolves has skyrocketed in the last decades. So we don't have those sort of big wilderness areas in Europe like they might do in North America. It's incredibly difficult to reintroduce wolves or wild cats, that kind of thing, where there's a high population density. And I think we might get there eventually, but it's just not politically very feasible,. People don't end, there's a lot of fear around it.
