Is Thinking Hard and Difficult and Undesired?

A lot of people are paralyzed. They would rather not share their thoughts with the world and take the risk that someone tells them very publicly that what they say is stupid. The public sphere right now feels more dangerous than it did even just a little while ago. And we've deprecated peaceful, interesting thinking between people at a great loss for humans.
