HSP47 is a HCHOC protein, it's chaperone, evolved in folding collagen. We could show by inhibiting HSP47 on the platelet surface that platelets are less active there. Can't be really stimulated by collagen or trombone anymore. If you deplete them of this protein like a winter bear, then they're less likely to have clots. The observed is probably been changed in some of the winter bears.
