Is God's Word Failed?

Romans nine five is a great text to defend the deity of christ. But then here's the question: Has god's word failed? And what i sae is that it's actually both things at the same time. The election sets abraham up as the head of a nation, and when he believes it, he's justified by faith alone in trusting god's promise. So that word of god establishes the nation of israel, but it's also a gospel promise that establishes the spiritual israel.
