I've Been Astonished by the Number of Friends Who Have Become Affirmatively Black

i'm astonished by the number of friends that i have from university, very bright people, successful in a number of different fields, but who, over the course of the last two years, have become affirmatively black. And it seems to me that there is necessarily a potential downside to that. It actually makes you perhaps more isolated. I think a much better approach is to make our institutions more open and non exclusionary,. as opposed to necessarily demographically representative f of the population. But all the same obstacles like acually exist in some respects. They're still there, and certain people still don't have access. So we have to pretend an npr really does have an existential crisis right
