Is It an Orientation to Beauty?

I'm just curious what you, if you came across that Beth Allen, what you thought of it. It felt like a really big jump into wide open space and I'd like to know what everybody thought of that. A person who's attracted to somebody of the same sex is oriented to that person's beauty in a deep and almost mystical way that people who are heterosexual don't understand. That was quite a claim and I didn't see any footnotes or anything to back that up there.
