Do You Think the Democrats Risk the Possibility of Overcorrecting for Their Fear of Republicans?
I worry that making those reforms becomes yet another step in terms of interfering with the judicial system itself. I haven't come up with a final decision on how i completely feel about thomas kex ideas for reform. The best example of this revolving round the judiciary specifically, is the mari garlands nomination to the supreme court last year. Do we try and manipulate the way the courts are constructed, or the way judges are chosen? Or o the democracy enhancing properties of that move outweigh the democracy undermining constitutional hardball tactics? That's exactly the dilemma the courts pose.
