Werner Herzog - Is He the Real Deal?
Werner Herzog is one of my favorite filmmakers and I think he is the real deal. He does have, you know, his less brilliant moments and he has his less admirable traits as all filmmakers do. But really the figures that are in his movies like Aguirre and Fitzcarraldo, they're insane. And they're destroyed by their obsessions.
