Preparation for a Patriarchal Blessing

Young people can do a little preparation, much like we do for conference. I think every parent in the church would just love it if a kid came and said, mam, how did you prepare for your patriarchal blessing? It's true for general conference and it's true for patriarchal blessings. We get out of it what we put into it. You read it very different when you're older. If you just whipi there one afternoon, do your patriarchal blessing, and then, you know, you forget you even did it until the copy of the blessing comes in the mail.
