Are We Going to Be Taking Out the Deep State?

Every decade of my life, I've seen a decline in the objectivity of the principled nature of politics. It reduced to soundbites, hope and change. Make America great again. Amorphous bromides that people can take anyway they want to. We reached a point where ideas don't matter. That is history, I'm afraid, and a very sad fact that is that it is history.
