The Transformation of Emotions
I was living in a house owned by a friend who was a banker. He wouldn't even walk through the gates of Art College and go to a painting. But it was nice in a way, because Art College was just down the road. I think people gradually understood that it made sense to have your emotions accessible. And there was a big problem between the sexes, though,. It was that men could have sexual relationships, but men and women couldn't. So if you were a male or a man, you couldn't have a girlfriend, or if you did, there were to be kept at Art's length - miles away from each other.
