I Block My Father From My Life
We haven't spoken in two years, but i am blocking when my sister tells me he's sick with ganger. A week later, he walks into the hospital with carry and he never walks back out. The next morning, i drive to tell my son his grandfather has passed. I'm flooded with guilt, an remorse over all the things i've never said to him. It finally is he scorned. He's really gone. a pain i've never felt before overtakes me innocently. I believe our souls transcend our bodies, but i'm also human, and what i'm morning is humanness.
