The Fed's Support for Economic Activity
Dudley: Over the past year or so, the economy has been supported by a fairly sizable fiscal deficit. We do think that fiscal policy has been supportive of activity, probably keeping inflation elevated. But over the next 12 months, we think that support fades pretty quickly.
