The Difference Between Viruses and Bacteria

Virus are basically just nucleic acids that replicate within a host. So there's, you know, the big argument, are they alive? Are they not? We're not going to answer today because even microbiologists can't agree. You can inactivate it with chemicals like formaldehyde and UV or by changing its chemical structure. But bacteria of course are live on their own. They have nutritional requirements which makes them different from viruses.
