CERN's 60th Birthday

CERN was founded on the 29th of September 1954 with the signing of a convention by 12 European countries. The LHC produces 40 million collisions per second, and each of those sprays a shower of particles - almost none of which are interesting to physicists. Taurus Shears works on the LHC's baby sister, the detector LHCB, where she's hunting for antimatter.
