The Rise of Leaders in Healthcare
I think there is a natural turning over of cohorts, partly to do with the explosion and, and, and sophistication of health services and health administration programs in the 60s and 70s. And so I'm seeing a new generation of leaders coming through many of them clinicians, uh, by training. But it's a tough time to be a leader of a large health system because you're going to have to manage big groups of doctors. Health system leaders need to be much more attentive to the needs and expectations of their patient population.
