The Importance of Keeping Our Metaphorical Flames Lit
Haydn forced musicians to send their families back to the city by forcing them to play a farewell symphony. The one remaining violinist played the last touching part of the farewell symphony then stood as the others had blew out their candle and along with Haydn walked away leaving nothing but silence and emptiness. Prince was so moved by this piece of music that he immediately reflected on the light he was responsible for extinguishing within each musician. He would go on to change his mind and let the families come back to the country estate where these families were reunited making it a happy ending in some ways. i share this story as a powerful reminder about our own light within and the importance of keeping this light
