In a way, that you have some one using nineteenth century knowledge who is a despostively disprovedwthin the twentieth and 20 first century with scholarship. I'm thinking of joseph smith with his translations of egyptian hierogliphs that were nonsenseand he has sorts of historical anachronisms. So here we have a similar thing, just an assertion about of a historical fact that to the nineteenth century person, it may have not been easy to challenge, but it's very easily challenged now.
