When Did I Get Interested in India?
When he was a kid, there were only three channels in the United States. One of those channels carried a show about India. And I found this just incredibly interesting and fascinating. When my first child was born, I named her Maya. So in that sense, you can say his interest in India started very, very young.
He's a renowned economist, he's worked in the IMF, he's an Asia specialist and he loves India.
