The Importance of a Legislative Election
All three candidates so far have not really touched on the whole 92 consensus, you know, one China different interpretations issue that much. One of the reasons is because it doesn't have much of a market among the Taiwanese electorate. So right now, I think Beijing's trying to be less provocative, but given that the Taiwanese electorate doesn't want to go where Beijing wants it to go, we could see some testing after election.
