The Effect of Charge on the Event Horizon
The size of the black hole is affected by the electromagnetic energy that's inside. The event horizon shrinks for all particles regardless of charge. A negatively charged black hole can resist negative particles from ever crossing over the event horizon. It can accelerate positively charged particles towards it. But the black hole charge can prevent some particles from crossing it or it can assist them.
