How to Listen to Feedback

It's so easy to go into defensive mode and not think that the person who is giving you feedback has positive intent. You just need to be vulnerable enough and show yourself vulnerable enough to actually receive it in a good way. I think we've all been in those situations where a person of authority has closed us down when we've tried expressing something or some giving some feedback. It's so much harder for them to get feedback at a point in the future because you'll just give up because you think it's futile.
