I've been alienated in so many workplaces where I could have had a perfectly enjoyable interaction with someone or solved a problem instead. The sector of my attention is focused down to this minuscule little thing and it's alienating to spend eight hours being managed and puppeteered around rather than actually getting to use my brain. In this vision of decision making that you describe in libertarian syndicalism, there sound like there are a lot of meetings. At times I get overwhelmed imagining the frenetic activity that I've experienced at moments of social rupture. But imagining that being extended to every day forever makes me suddenly almost thankful for bureaucratic banality of today's world.
