Is There a Tie in Scriptural Interpretation?

When you have a tie when it comes to scriptural interpretation, tradition is going to break that tie. If the earliest christians all believe that this is bodily, i think at that point you've got to go with the fathers. I would also say that even if you didn't have the church fathers, you can make the case that christ is truly present in the eucharist. So we don't have to go there.
