Is There a Gift Tax Exclusion for Medical Expenses?
Any individual that gives another individual more than the annual gift tax exclusion amount has to be filed. But thereist is an exception for the direct payment of medical expenses and or educational expenses. So in terms of tax consequences, i don't think you need worry bout it. And certainly it's not something that needs to be worried about right now.
