Is There a Risk of Amputation in DAPA CKD?
The only trial that showed an increased risk was in the Canvas program. The amputation rate in the placebo group of Canvas was incredibly low. We couldn't find a clear signal that it increased with worsening glycemic control. In most circumstances, the mycotic genital infections in credence were very easily treated and didn't require hospitalization.
