Translating Ralip's Poetry
Ralip for me remains the toughest poet to translate. I've translated other prose writers, Mantu and other modern ones also. But poetry remains I think the toughest and most interesting challenge also. Perhaps for that I will read one verse not from temple lamp but from a translation of an Uddhu Hazal of his that I have done and included in my first book Hazalamah.
