The party wants a prick. They want a jerk. They want an authoritarian. That's what they want their nominee to be. That's Trump. People thought it was DeSantis. Well, that is who he is. I don't see anybody in this field who can be a prick and authoritarian and a bully in a jerk. But at this point, they don't want anybody else.
