Can I Intubate a Crychothyroidotomy?

Both intubation and subsequent ventilation via face mask are impossible. So now we're down this difficult airway algorithm. A crychothyroidotomy is performed with a 16 gauge intravenous catheter. Application of pressures greater than 35 centimeters of water to the catheter will increase the risk for pulmonary barotrama.
