The All-Provelling Materialist Worldview
The default materialist worldview, which is held practically by basically everyone in the Western, they have a clear alternative and state otherwise. Where do you think socially that sort of comes from? This is the all-provelling materialism. I think a great role is placed by social pressure and by anxiety. Anxiety is most important perhaps. So it seems so convenient to be able to explain nature, or to believe that one can one day explain nature. To be finally aloof of the intervention of unexplainable events, or forces, or whatever you call it, it feels safe. Well, also very disillusioning, of course, because we don't have anything to hope for anymore.
