Caesar's War With the Romans

Farnakees II, the son of Rome's old enemy Mithra deities, had returned to Pontus and thought it right that he should be king. Caesar might have worked out a deal with Farnakees to recognize his sovereignty over Pontus in exchange for not making trouble. When the Romans arrived though, Caesar's tone immediately changed. There would be no peace with a man who castrated Roman citizens. The Pontic army was destroyed, and Caesar let his men sack the town.
