Ruth started collecting all the online photographs that scammers use to fool their victims. She'd ask people who think they might be the target of scams to see if the photo that was sent to them was in the album. Find your new friends picture, then you know you were being scammed. Ruth said a lot of the time, people came to scam haters too late. They'd already given the scammers too much information.
