Recruiting Long Term Missionaries?

Churches and youth groups sort of coopted the idea of the short mission trip, that it became about spiritual growth for the ones who went. I think i wer fing to recruit long term missionaries. And arguably it works. It probably does do that. Now, we may get to at what cost? R thats what we're going to get to. But, i mean, i'd have no problem with the idea that it's a second baptism into a kind of christian commitment,. right?
