The Chinese Response to the War in Ukraine
With the military still basically oriented towards an American model, that is a very important basis for a continuing U.S. alliance. Whether the alliance will persist as Chinese subtle pressure builds over time remains to be seen. China's only been this major role player for 10 years. What the next five or 10 years hold is going to be a continued development of that geopolitical pressure. Once Taiwan is broken and incorporated, there goes the first island chain,. There goes the Pacific literal,there goes the fulcrum for US geopolitical power dating back all the way to 1945.
