Is It OK to Exclude Chip Making Technology From Export to China?
China is a powerhouse in artificial intelligence they have leading AI companies that are on par with leading American companies. The Chinese military which has been modernizing and advancing considerably the last several decades is going to have access to those Chinese AI companies. So if you can control access to the chips, you can Control access to AI,. That's what the US is doing with the US, which is going to control controls on chip exports to China. And so it'll keep China dependent on foreign supplies for their own ability to produce chips.
