Is There a Tension Between Education and Indoctrination?

The liberal arts experience allowed you to pursue a life of faith, which was unexpected. One thing religious institutions sometimes have in their more conservative expressions is that it, that pursuing the truth or your understanding of it might lead you out of the faith. And so as I think of pedagogy, I think of it as like an almost like an open space where you can experience dialogue and different points of view.
