Is There a Level Playing Field With Trade?
The problem with tariffs unfortunately the political rhetoric is China's paying the tariffs. That's not true American consumers pay the tariffs. It's a tax on consumption. As President Trump took office in the United States typical family of four was benefiting to the tune of about $11,000 of improved standard of living because of trade making more products available at a lower cost. So I don't think trade will go away I just think it's going to shift away in the West from China.
