The Anglo-Polish Committee
Poland asked Tony Blair to set up a historical committee in order to investigate further the Polish intelligence contribution to Allied victory in Second World War. The premise was actually incense of false one because they complained that we hadn't recognised their contribution, but you could see right from the get-go it was going to be part of the broader British-Polish relationship. Part of this is revising a view of history - though I'm very cautious about the idea of historical apologies altogether.
