It uses native format as much as possible with a little bit of overhead to let other machines know if they need to do conversions non-inserialization stuff. One of the reasons that I had I thought well might work really well on this is because Hearing them talk about representations of integers and numbers and such You begin to realize that maybe numbers represented on computers aren't quite as as Stable a thing as you think they might be unless somebody does a lot of work to make them stable.
