The Evolution of the Microbiome
We don't have as much survival of the fittest going on. Someone with very poor vision, someone who is diseased can live in some cases a very long and fulfilling life. I would argue that it changes it in a positive way, but it's definitely changing the way in which evolution would normally roll out. Nevertheless, we are very different and probably most different.
