I felt very much about the Iraq war that it just seemed like kind of performative uselessness. There is actually a very direct connection for a lot of us who took part in 2010 between the Iraq War movement and the student movements of 2010. This was a disruptive, a rebellious moment that aimed to resist rather than protest. I also think that what Zoe, what you're saying about people's imaginations in 2010 is a very salient point. The way I talk about in the book is this generation without a history.
