Aristotle's Aiming at Innovation Causes Destruction

Aristotle advised every regime on how to preserve itself. For the causes of a regimes destruction stem especially from its flaws. Only through improving one's regime, said aristotle, could one make it endure. Aiming at preservation allows and requires the right kind of change,. So what would that project look like? Not going to outline a long, long project, just a couple of ideas. Even setting aside morality an christian customs, we're obviously engaged in a kind of cultural project which, viewed from the outside, clearly risks the collapse of our state.
