I'm in the horror genre as well. And everything is, everything is scarier when it's not spoken about. I always feel like exposition is the most boring fucking thing in horror. For me, so much more is communicated through looks and gestures. That's often better without that line that we're like agonizing over. If you lose three lines of dialogue, great, who gives a shit? You can't see anything when it's a script. So they have to be there so that you know where to go, but lose those f***ing things.
