Is There a Difference Between Running and Relationship?
I recently talked with a guy who's a really serious marathoner and trains constantly and he sets goals. And then he said, I fell in love and I had to look at can I keep doing all those goals at all that time and do a relationship. He didn't stop doing his running, but he had to bring incorporate other kinds of things. It became a real retrofitting of his entire regimen because now there was another important person in his life. The process you're describing of engaging in dialogue, multiple indicators, evaluating ourselves or getting a principle, it's allows for a lot more emergence of new courses of action.
