The Story of Melvin the Great
"The Dark Knight of the Soul" is about a young boy who runs away from his family. His stepfather tries to cut off his hair with a butcher knife and he's left traumatized. He learns how to deal with anger, see his dad as just a man instead of a boogie man. The book also explores what it means to be an adult when you're not used to being one.
